BPC-157
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide fragment derived from human gastric juice protein BPC. It is among the most studied research peptides in preclinical models of tissue repair, angiogenesis, and gastrointestinal mucosal protection.
Mechanism of Action
Preclinical studies suggest BPC-157 modulates growth factor expression (VEGF, FGF), promotes angiogenesis, interacts with the nitric oxide system, and stabilizes the gastric mucosal barrier. Research models include tendon transection, muscle crush injury, and inflammatory bowel models.
Research Applications
- Tendon, ligament, and muscle repair models
- Gastrointestinal mucosal protection research
- Angiogenesis and wound-healing assays
- Anti-inflammatory pathway studies

Reconstitution (Laboratory)
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water under sterile laboratory conditions. Typical research preparations use 1–2 mL per 5 mg vial. Swirl gently — do not shake vigorously. Allow complete dissolution before use in assays.
Storage & Handling
Lyophilized: stable at room temperature for shipping; store at 2–8 °C for long-term retention. Reconstituted: refrigerate at 2–8 °C; use within laboratory-validated stability window. Protect from light.
Quality Assurance
Every lot undergoes independent third-party HPLC purity analysis, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, and endotoxin testing (<0.5 EU/mg). Certificate of Analysis (COA) is stored against the SKU lot number and available through your research account portal.
